Mumbai Marines FC has entered into a partnership with Sportifan Ventures Ltd, as they get ready for new pastures in the Mumbai District Football Association’s First Division this season.

Mumbai Marines have been quite the story in Mumbai Football, earning two promotions in just three years after starting out in the MDFA’s Third Division league. After finishing on the fourth spot in their Third Division group in the first year, Mumbai Marines continued to strengthen their squad and soon, the dividends paid off.

In their second year in the Third Division, Mumbai Marines managed to finish as the Group topper making their way to the playoffs. They ended up losing in the Quarter Finals but gained promotion to the Second Division.

The following year in the Second Division, the Marines finished on the second position in the Group stage and had a brilliant run in the playoffs making it to the finals. They lost out in the final but had already secured their promotion to the First Division of Mumbai Football.

Now, ahead of the upcoming MDFA First Division season, Mumbai Marines are entering into a sponsorship-cum-partnership deal with SportiFan Ventures Ltd. as they build strength to strength with their aim to make their mark in Mumbai football.

Sportifan Ventures Ltd. is a B2B Sport Business Management consulting firm that offers specialization in fan activation and engagement, digital marketing strategies, sports technology and creation of media content from mega sporting events and personality representation.

Sportifan will be providing data analysis services to Mumbai Marines FC for their First Division season.

Sportifan’s director Sarthak Mondal spoke about their partnership with Mumbai Marines FC, “With Mumbai Marines, we enter new markets, and we hope to help the club grow and achieve their goals. With our services, Mumbai Marines would become one of the very few regional clubs using data, and we hope to help them become an established club and brand from Mumbai”
