If you have ever wished to witness your favourite players playing together for a single team wearing the same jersey, then definitely your cricket crazy soul has been perfectly stumped all these nine years.

IPL has always been known for not only showcasing the audaciousAshots of Chris Gayle or just to enjoy the lofting shots and cover drives of your favourite national and international capped players. On the other hand, players like Pravin Tambe, Shivil Kaushik and many other uncapped players too have managed to dazzle the big show with their sheer talent.

One of the major purposes of IPL is to bring out talents from regional games going on around the country. The bidding franchises are well aware of the talent on offer and make smart choices to make the most of their season.

This season’s auctionAwas no less a surprise when top National and International players remained unsold like Ishant Sharma or Irfan Pathan ( Wait..what?? Did you roll your eyes??). Some uncapped players were bought instead at prices way above their base prices.

Let us have a look at those young uncapped talents and what we can expect from this season.

1. Rashid Arman Khan (Sunrisers Hyderabad, 4 Cr)

This 18-year old Afghanistani right-arm leg-break bowler had a base price of 50 L . He was bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for a whoppingAprice of 4 Crores. He became the costliest uncapped player purchase of the season. Rashid ranksA5th in the latest ICC T20 Bowler Rankings. He came into the limelight during his excellent spin spell on the Nagpur pitch against WI in March 2016. At 18 years & 178 days, Rashid Khan became the second-youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in ODIs after Waqar Younis. Hope he spins a lot of heads this season in IPL and make his place worth for the sun to rise in the camp of defending champions.
