baclofen online, purchase zithromax. U Mumba and Rahul ChaudhariIt was a tough night for U Mumba as they closed out the Hyderabad leg of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi with a 35-30 loss to home team Telugu Titans. They managed to earn a bonus point because of quick scoring in the final minutes of the match.

The first half began rather calmly with both sides exchanging touch points including a tackle on Rahul Chaudhari that seemed to bruise his previously injured shoulder. Suresu Kumar, who performed well in the do-or-die raids against Bengal Warriors, came in for a do-or-die raid and brought back a significant point to keep U Mumba near the Titans who were looking like a house on fire. A do-or-die raid for Nilesh Salunkhe just before half time saw him eliminate both Surjeet and Sunil, making the score 12-9 in favour of Telugu Titans at half time.

The second half saw the home team step up the pace and unfortunately U Mumba found it difficult to score against their ultra-tight defence. With only the three top raiders left on the mat, it was difficult for the Mumbai side to effect a super tackle, seeing Rishank Devadiga and captain Anup Kumar being eliminated, leaving Rakesh to stave off the all-out. The all-rounder was successful, bringing back Suresu and Jeeva on the mat along with a bonus point. But the all-out was inevitable with last man Suresu being tackled, the all-out coming in the 22nd minute taking the score to 19-13 in favour of Telugu Titans.

Former U Mumba raider Prapanjan was used in the do-or-die raids for the home team which proved successful for them as they were able to score points without their talisman Rahul Chaudhari on the mat. Both Rishank and Rakesh were only able to bring back bonus points with the Titans defending well. Once Rahul came back on the mat, he effected the second all-out on U Mumba in the 28th minute, increasing the lead to 12 points with the score 28-16. It looked like the Titans would run away with the match until a decisive Suresu raid saw him return with two points after a successful review. With less than 5 minutes left, the aim was now to lessen the Titans’ lead to 7 points and earn a bonus point. Captain Anup decided to combine his cool head with Rakesh’s experience and allow the opposition raiders to dictate the game.

This saw a few tackles being effected and soon after Anup’s raid had reduced the home team to one man on the mat, Rakesh brought about the all-out on Telugu Titans with seconds to spare. An empty buzzer raid by Nilesh Salunkhe saw U Mumba lose 35-30 to the home team.

Coach Bhaskaran was complimentary of the opposing captain’s persistence to play after injury but was aware of their mistakes. “We had depended on Rishank who could not perform for us tonight. The initial lead was 6-7 points which became heavy on us. Titans outplayed us in a pressure game for them at home with Rahul coming back and scoring despite suffering a blow. But despite this loss, we have the confidence to bounce back as we have done earlier.”

U Mumba now travel to Patna where they face Season 2 finalists Bengaluru Bulls on 8th July, Friday.
