Cricket India Indian Premier League Kings XI Punjab Sunrisers Hyderabad

IPL 10 : Match 19 Preview : Sunrisers Hyderabad v Kings XI Punjab

The action moves to theARajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad where Sunrisers Hyderabad will play hosts to Kings XI Punjab in the 19th match of the season.

Defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad started the season with two wins, before stumbling against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.Kings XI Punjabas story has been pretty similar too; they registered comprehensive wins in their first two matches, before losing to KKR and Delhi Daredevils.

So the fortunes of the two Australian captains – David Warner of SRH and Glenn Maxwell of KXIP – are pretty similar. The only difference is that one of them will end up with two points after the match on Monday in Hyderabad.

Both teams have had a similar win-loss pattern so far as they won first two games while playing at home and then lost two away games. Both didnat play badly in their losses but the opponents got the better of them playing in their own backyards.

The Hyderabad pitch has hosted two games so far and proved to be batsmen friendly one. In the first game, SRH batted first and scored a massive 207 and then stopped the RCB line-up to 172. In the next game though, Gujarat Lions were halted at just 135 which the SRH chased down in just the 16th over by losing just one wicket. Dew will play a huge factor as the game starts at 8 PM and hence batting second would be the ideal choice after winning the toss.

The outcome of this match will depend to a huge extent on which of the two Aussies a David Warner or Glenn Maxwell a does more damage with the bat. Both batsmen play one brand of cricket a free and attacking a and could demoralise bowlers pretty quickly.

SRH perhaps hold the edge on the bowling front; they have Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who is the top wicket-taker this season, apart from the impressive Rashid Khan and the experienced Ashish Nehra.

For Punjab,ASandeep Sharma is the one to keep an eye on; the 23-year old can move the ball both ways, and if he finds rhythm early on, he could ask plenty of questions of the SRH batsmen. Mohit Sharma and Varun Aaron were taken for plenty by the DD batsmen. Where they lag behind is the lack of another quality spinner in the side.
