1. Jason Roy (Gujarat Lions)
The English opener is in a fantastic form these days. It was his fantastic performance with the bat that made his entry into VIVO IPL 2017 quite possible. Gujarat Lions (GL) bought him for a whooping sum of 1 crore.
He has a good experience of playing T20 cricket with more than 3500 runs at an average of around 29 and blitzing strike rate of 145. This is going to be his debut in the IPL championship. However, he might not be able to play the entireAtournament due to Englandas series against Ireland in May.
