‘U Mumba’ raider Abhishek Singh along with New Zealand bowler Mitchelle Josef Santner was present to encourage the school kids and award the trophy to the winning team

In a test of strength and passion for kabaddi, the KBD Juniors Season 2 Mumbai finale witnessed Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar Municipal School emerge victorious against Don Bosco School and the score was 49-18. ‘Defending Champions’ Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar Municipal School had an unbeaten run to lift the trophy.

Prior to the city finals, the two semi-final matches witnessed Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar Vidayalaya test their mettle against Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar Municipal School and Don Bosco School took on NM Joshi Marg Municipality Secondary School.  

Amongst the schools in the fray for the coveted title of Mumbai city champions were Anjuman-I-Islam English Secondary School, Dr. BabaSaheb Ambedkar Municipal School, RST Madhyamik Vidyalaya, Dr. BabaSahed Ambedkar Vidyalaya, Don Bosco School, St. Xavier’s High School, NM Joshi Marg Municipality Secondary School and AFAC English School. Families, principals, teachers turned up in good numbers as they cheered the students to deliver their best.
