Daniel Vettori stepped down as the Brisbane heat coach soon after Brendon Mccullum retired and the two New Zealand legends have hung up their boots from their respective roles.

Brisbane Heat won their last match against Melbourne Stars by a good run rate and kept there hope’s alive the star performer for the Heat was Ben Cutting who scored Quickfire 81 not out of just 30 balls consisting of 8 massive sixes with the contribution from opener Bryant scoring 71 not out ensured that the Brisbane Heat still have chance of qualifying in the Last 4 and will have to wait for the winner of Melbourne Stars vs Sydney Sixers match if Melbourne Stars wins that match they will go through.

With still a chance to qualify, Vettori will be retiring as the season ends that will be determined by the decider between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars. Following His Retirement, he said, “I have loved my time at Brisbane, firstly as a player and then as a coach, and the experience of being part of the growth of the BBL has been personally rewarding.”

“I would like to thank the players for their efforts and wish them all the best in their respective careers.” Currently, Vettori Coaches for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL and will be looking forward to a great season ahead for his team.
