South Africa and Australia will play against each other at Manchester. Australia will fight to remain on No.1 spot whereas the Proteas who are playing for pride will look to take down the Aussies.

Here are some players to watch out for from the encounter –

Mitchell Starc

The left arm fast bowler is showing his best world cup form the second time by picking up 24 wickets already in the tournament. He is currently the second highest wicket taker in a single World Cup (24) behind Aussie legend Glenn McGrath, who had 26 wickets.

Dwaine Pretorius

South Africa’s bowling lineup has been improved with the support of Dwaine Pretorius. He was the Man of the Match against Sri Lanka for his bowling figures of 3 for 25 in 10 overs. The team will surely expect some wickets from his side.

Usman Khawaja

Australian top order batsmen Usman Khawaja is looking in good touch after a few matches. He scored an important knock of 88 runs against New Zealand in a winning cause. If Warner and Finch fail to impress then the team will certainly depend on Khawaja’s batting.

Imran Tahir

Imran Tahir will look to impress in his last game for the South African side. His ODI career has been very impressive with 172 wickets in just 106 matches. He hasn’t got going in this World Cup but certainly he would look forward to give his best performance for one last time.

David Warner

The explosive opening batsmen David Warner will certainly look forward to build a partnership with his partner Aaron Finch against the Proteas. He has been having a good world cup campaign with 516 runs and will look forward to score more.
