2. Graeme Le Saux v David Batty (Blackburn Rovers v Spartak Moscow, 1995)
The two clashed just four minutes into their Champions League match against Spartak Moscow. Batty gave Le Saux an earful for miscuing a pass and conceding a throw-in. Le Saux punched Batty prompting their captain to intervene in the dispute. Amazingly, they werenat sent off but Blackburn lost the match 3-0 and finished at the bottom of their group. The situation was even worse for Le Saux who realized he had broken his hand after the punch.
