Wrestler Narsingh yadav had a meeting with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi ahead of his participation in the Rio Olympics. The player who was given the clean chit by NADA on Monday met the Prime Minister at his office in the parliament House after the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting with Wrestling Fedration president Brijbhushan Sharan in attendance.
The prime minister not only boosted the confidence of the wrestler and also assured him of justice. He encouraged the player to channel his complete focus on the game and concentrate on winning medals for the country leaving behind the tension which he had faced.
Narsingh also expressed his gratitude to the prime minister for his doze of encouragement and confidence in him. He also took to acknowledge the support he had received from the Wrestling Federation and media for their support.
Narsingh was booked for doping after testing positive for a banned anabolic methandieone on June 25 had claimed that he was a victim of sabotage. He has confidence that the accused will face consequences after proper investigation.
