APRIL 15, MUMBAI: Ambernath United Atlanta FC are one match away from another piece of silverware after beating defending champions, Air India FC in the semifinal of the Nadkarni Cup 2023.
Air India won back to back to back, the Nadkarni Cup from 2017 to 2019. Ambernath United Atlanta FC who were making their debut in the competition previously got a walkover in their match against Central Railway and won 4-1 against The Oranje FC in the quarterfinals.
A goal Arif Shaikh sealed the win for Ambernath United Atlanta FC as they won 1-0 with an emphatic performance from everyone. Took their chance in attack and defended astutely to thwart any chance from Air India FC.
