Rumours have some truth to them. Facts can be so misleading, while rumours true or false are often very revealing.

A three month transfer window can only mean that rumours will make their way from every club. Like who wants to buy Chelsea reject Juan Mata? Or maybe will Oumar Niasse ever play Premier league football again? Or who wants to buy Antonio Griezmann.

Answers shall be given to you, but only if one scrolls down.

The Potters were looking for a striker to back Mame Diouf. But a meeting between the Potters and the Van Persieas agent ended after the agent said that the Dutch striker would like to stay.

But rumour has it that the Turkish club wanted a fee of 7 million euros for the striker which manager Mark Hughes thought to be too much for a man way out of his prime.

  • Swansea City will have to pay more to get our star says Sporting CP

Sporting’s Algerian forward Islam Slimani celebrates a goal

Striker Islam Slimani has been hot property this season after a 31 goal season for the Portuguese club. And given the fact that he wants to move to the Premier League to see how well he can perform in a much bigger league, he has multiple Premier League clubs after him. Swansea City and West Brom, have had submitted offers of 20 million euros rejected by the club. Swansea in particular will be very interested after Gomis, Andre Ayew and Eder have all left the club, and thus leaving space up front that needs to be filled

  • Niasse to play again??

After a lacklustre six odd months with Everton, Oumar Niasse may get another chance to prove his worth. With Everton going after Yannick Bolasie, they have offered the Senegalese striker as part of the deal and thus maybe reduce the amount that the Toffees have to pay.

Niasse was bought for 13.5 million euros in February and made his debut coming on for Lukaku. He then proceeded to play only 4 more games and scored nothing. It was an all-around surprise anyway, when Everton bought him even though he is known for his pace and high work rate.

And with the Eagles in the market for a striker and a good one, maybe Oumar can re make himself at Selhurst Park.

And with new Saints manager playing with a central midfield heavy team, the Croatian is perfect for him and his squad. Capable of playing as an attacking midfielder, central midfielder and even as a winger, Marko is an ideal player for the Saints.

And with both Napoli and Villarreal showing interest in the player, Southampton better do something fast.

  • Januzaj to be loaned to Sunderland.

With the Marseille unhappy about the payment structure, after the Tottenham chairman offered a revised offer that would see the French club receive a sum of only 4.2 million euros up front.

And with Clinton NaJie back in training, this adds more fuel to the fire, as the Cameroonian international was supposed to head to Marseille as part of the deal.

  • No room for Nasri and Bony at Pepas City

Is it the end of Samir Nasri, Wilfried Bony and Eliaquim Mangalaas careers at Manchester City? Who knows, but they have been left out of Cityas Champions League squad and that if nothing, is a sure sign. With Nasri being too fat and made to sit out of training, it seems that none of the trio are highly valued by Pep Guardiola and were also left out of preseason games, despite being fully fit.

In a weirder story, Real Sociedad has confirmed that they will take Geronimo Rulli on loan till the end of this year. With the Citizens never actually announcing the signing of the Argentine goalkeeper recently, he spent the last two seasons on loan at the Spanish side from Deportivo Maldonado. And after the loan, Real have him permanently till 2022.

Liverpool target Ludovic Blas has been handed a new contract to ward off transfer interest from the Meryside club, among other suitors including Lyon. The 18 year is not for sale, said Guingamp, and with the improved contract and better pays the French club hopes that Liverpool, Lyon and Inter will not be able to will away their star.

With Napoli rejecting bids from all three clubs, with the Serie A giants holding out for closer to A?50m. With Conte keen to strengthen the Bluesa defence with Terry entering his final season at the club and Kurt Zouma yet to fully recover from a torn ACL.

  • Koeman desperately wants Juan Mata

With Mourinho at United, it seems that maybe Juan Mata no longer has a place in the line-up. And Athis has led to multiple rumours about the Spanish manas future. With Everton and manager Ronald Koeman heavily linked to the playmaker, it seems that there is a slight possibility that he could remain at United.

And with the sale of John Stones for 50 million euros, this has seen the Everton purse increase and Koeman wants to spend it all on Mata. With the Spaniardas vision and passing skills he would a perfect partner to the 22 year old Ross Barkley.

And afterAbeing humiliated by being subbed in and the consecutively subbed off 17 minutes later, Mata is now expected to try to force an exit even though Mourinho has indicated that he is not for sale. With Everton having explored the possibility of a transfer, Ronald Koeman could now press for a move.

  • Arsene Wenger only wants goalscoring machines

The Arsenal boss has been carefully deliberating the transfer market for the last 4 odd years, finally says that only an elite goalscoring machine will do for him. But despite the interest and rejected bids by Lyon for Alexandre Lacazette, it seems that Robert Lewandowski is actually the main target and French star Griezmann an alternative.

Which leaves another rumour unticked, that the Gunners will offer a reported sum of 30 million euros for out of favour Man City striker Wilfried Bony. Now where that leaves that Ivorian striker is anyoneas guess. And given that a 35 million euro bid for PFA player of the year Riyad Mahrez, who the hell knows what is going through Arseneas mind other than the man himself!!
