3. Mumbai Attack Lacked Bite

Mumbai manager Santosh Kashyap employed the strategy of using counter-attacking tactics to frustrate Bengaluru FC for much of the first half. The Mumbai midfielders had a pretty lackluster day as they could not gain hold of the game at any point of the match. Siam Hanghal was not his usual self as he was left frustrated by the constant pressure from the BFC midfield. Mumbai weren’t allowed to build any attacks from the midfield by the Bengaluru men and this affected the attack. There were very few chances created and striker Victorino didn’t have a proper attempt on the goal.
