Siam Hangal To Play For Chennaiyin FC

Siam Hangal who won the Federation cup and I-League title twice will play for Chennaiyin FC this year.

During ISL 2015 Siam Hanghal played in Northeast United on loan from Bengaluru. He made 12 appearances in the season. The defending Champions have signed the central midfielder for a one year deal. He joins the side after a wonderful 3 year run at Bengaluru FC.

In the early days of his career he had a good time at the Tata Football Academy, which was followed by joining the AIFFa��s Developmental side arrows. Later On after getting loaned out to DSK Shivajians from arrows, he represented the Pune based club in the second division of I a�� League.

The midfielder has also represented India at the U a�� 23 level. He joined Bengaluru FC in 2013 and started 21 of their 24 matches. He helped Bengaluru to win the Federation Cup. Playing for Northeast, he merely missed out on a semis berth but he was acknowledged as one of the best Indian midfieldera��s of the tournament.

Chennaiyin FC coach Materazzi feels that he is a good addition to the side. The talented midfielder had a good ISL season last year and he played well against his present club as well.
