Chennai, 2nd August 2023: Hockey India, today, announced its partnership with Limca Sportz as the official supplier for the Hero Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023. The elite tournament, scheduled to be held at the iconic Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium in Egmore, Chennai from 3rd August to 12th August, promises to be a showcase of exceptional hockey talent, and Limca Sportz, which is the first-ever brand extension of Coca-Cola’s homegrown brand Limca into the hydrating sports drinks category, is honored to play a significant role in this prestigious event.

The Hero Asian Champions Trophy Chennai 2023 will take place from 3-12 August 2023  ~ 

Under this partnership, Limca Sportz, a product of The Coca-Cola Company, will be responsible for supplying all Coca-Cola beverages to players, staff members, coaches, dignitaries, officials, and VIPs at the tournament venue throughout the event.

Limca Sportz, introduced by Coca-Cola India Private Limited as a low-sugar beverage, serves as a hydration-based sports product since its launch in 2022. It contains glucose and essential electrolytes, making it a suitable choice for players to rapidly replenish fluids during the intense tournament. This water-based and no-fizz beverage helps in faster rehydration in individuals involved in physical activity in the form of sports, exercise, and high intense chores.
