India and Bangladesh will go head to head at Edgbaston today. While Bangladesh is looking for the qualification to the semis, India is looking forward towards their standings for a better place in the top 4 of the points table. Here are some of the players to watch out for from the match.

Rohit Sharma

India New Zealand

The ‘Hitman’ Rohit Sharma has been the man of the moment for India in this year’s World Cup. Scoring overall 3 centuries in the tournament, he has contributed very well towards the batting aspect of the team.

Shakib Al Hasan

The all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has been in dream form in this year’s world cup. He is currently the 3rd highest run scorer with 476 runs and has picked up 10 wickets overall in the tournament. A lot will be dependent on him if Bangladesh wants a berth in the Semi-finals.

Mushfiqur Rahim

The wicket keeper batsmen Mushfiqur Rahim has been pretty impressive in this year’s world cup with 327 runs. Alongside Mahmudullah and Shakib Al Hasan, he has contributed well towards scoring crucial runs for the team.

Mohammad Shami

The right arm fast bowler Mohammad Shami has started his World Cup campaign with a bang. Picking up 13 wickets in just 3 matches the pacer has shown his class to the team. A lot will be expected from Shami in the remaining matches also. He has just played two matches against Bangladesh but has picked up 6 wickets overall against them.

Hardik Pandya

Yet to score big Hardik Pandya has produced good bursts of quick runs for the team but hasn’t managed to slot into the finisher role. If he gets going with the bat then it will be hard to stop him. There will be a lot of expectations from him that he will bowl well against Bangladesh.
