Current world champion was so frustrated post his crash during the qualifying at the European Grand Prix in June that he went on to wreck his own dressing room as per claims by Mercedes chairman, Niki Lauda.
The Formula One legend while speaking to Sport 24 divulged that Hamilton removed his anger in his private room at the team’s hotel room.
He added that Hamilton later on reimbursed the expenses for the damages he had caused when he was upset due to the crash.
Lauda also refuted Hamilton’s claim about him burying the hatchet with fellow team mate Nico Rosberg, saying that “it was just for show.”
In the race at Baku while Hamilton finished fifth, Rosberg went on to claim the title with a pdium finish. This was followed by Hamilton winning the Austrian GP on Sunday reducing Rosberg’s lead in the title race from 24 to 11 points.
