Marcos Alonso has already accepted terms with Chelsea.
Chelsea seem to have grabbed another player just as we are almost done with the transfer window. Marcos Alonso will move from Fiorentina to the Chelsea side. Antonio Conteas club will pay 27 million Euros for this signing. Chelsea will be happy to have the 25 year old in their squad.
Negotiations were in place from a long time and finally a renewed transfer offer is expected to be accepted by the Fiorentina club. After the transfer of Ghana International Baba Rahman to Schalke on loan, Antonio Conte wants to add a left back to the squad to strengthen his team. The former Real Madrid and Bolton defender Alonso appears to be his primary target. With the transfer procedure yet to be completed, the player seems to have no issues to play in the English Premier League.
Chelsea also have other departments unanswered as they are short of a specialist Central Midfielder as the previous bids for Napolias Kalidou Koulibaly and Milanas Alessio Romagloni were declined.
