MARCH 15, 2023 MUNICH (Germany) – The Semi-Final lineup in this season’s FIBA Europe Cup have now been confirmed following the conclusion of the Quarter-Finals stage, on Wednesday.
Anwil Wloclawek (POL) will take on Karhu Basket (FIN) with Cholet Basket (FRA) facing BC Kalev/Cramo (EST) in the other matchup in the last four.
Cholet were the first team to advance after beating BC Budivelnyk Kyiv 83-79 on Tuesday for an overall three-point triumph on aggregate with Kalev/Cramo rounding out the lineup with an 85-67 victory over Brose Bamberg to win by 21 points overall.
Karhu backed up a narrow first leg win by beating FC Porto 75-65, while Anwil caused an upset by defeating Gaziantep 91-75 on the road to halt the Turkish club’s seven-game win streak.

Cholet Basket v BC Kalev/Cramo
Karhu Basket v Anwil Wloclawek
Karhu and Kalev/Cramo are the first clubs from Finland and Estonia, respectively, to reach the Semi-Finals in FIBA Europe Cup history with all four remaining teams competing at this stage of the competition for the first time.
The Semi-Finals will take place in a home-and-away format with Cholet and Karhu earning home court advantage for the second legs, based on the classification of teams from the Second Round.
The first leg ties are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 29 with the reverse fixtures set for Wednesday, April 5 before the winners of each tie meet in the Finals, which will also be played over two legs later in April.
