In the first ODI action amidst the COVID-19 pandemic situation, England are all set to take on Ireland in a three-match series.

We take a look at the the top five players who could have a key impact on the series.

Eoin Morgan

The first player in mind when It comes to England’s strong batting line-up will be the captain Eoin Morgan. The hard-hitting middle-order batsmen would certainly look forward to post a heavy barrage of runs. He would certainly have a memory flashback when he takes the field against the team he used to play before in his starting days of the career.

Tom Banton

The hard-hitting global sensation, Tom Banton hasn’t been in that great form recently. But no doubt that he would like to break the shackles in these three One Dayers. A lot of expectations are kept that he will score big at the top of the innings.

Reece Topley

The left-arm seamer from Sussex, Reece Topley has plenty of varieties in his bowling. He has a good variation of balls ranging from slow to fast. He will be returning to the side after a long time of almost 4 years and would look to deliver big this time.

Andy Balbirnie

A very technical batsman and a notable ex Middlesex player, Andy Balbirnie will have an important task to play as he will be leading the side against the World Cup Winners. He would certainly be having a game plan ahead of this match and will look forward to implementing it.

Kevin O’Brien

Another very huge asset in the Irish squad will be none other than their batsmen Kevin O’Brien. The 36-year-old will play an important role with both the bat and the ball. Nobody would ever forget his recorded fastest century in a match-winning cause against England. Again the team will believe in him to showcase the same spirit against their famed opponents.
