As we head into the 3rd and the final ODI match of the series, England would like to wrap up the series in a 3-0 whitewash. The visitors Ireland would like to upset England this time around.
In both the matches, England have chased down the target set by the Irish at Southampton.
Here are the top players to watch out for the final match of the ODI series.
Jonny Bairstow – England
Last time played a very important and a quick knock of 82 runs in a winning cause, Bairstow will look forward to steering his innings again with his aggressive intent. All eyes would be on him as he would be the one to post or chase whatever score that can be possible for his side.
David Willey – England
Very good with both bat and the ball David Willey has been in an amazing form since his return to international cricket. The all-rounder from Yorkshire has already picked up 7 wickets in 2 matches and also scored a valuable knock of 47 runs in the second match, he will look forward to ending this series on a high note for sure.
Curtis Campher – Ireland
Certainly a surprise package for the Ireland team. The South Africa born all-rounder Curtis Campher has been in a dream form in his debut series. Having already scoring 127 runs and picking up 3 wickets in the 2 matches, the 21-year-old has already made the headlines. This time around also he will look to give a larger impact.
Harry Tector – Ireland
The young promising batsman in the Irish team, Harry Tector will surely give his best in the final one dayer. He gave a good start scoring 28 in the last match but failed to convert big. This time around the 20-year-old will surely try to make an impact in this struggling batting Irish Batting lineup.
The 29-year-old batsman from Kent Sam Billings has been not dismissed yet in both the one dayers and also went on to give the win twice to his side when they were looking in a sense of trouble. By scoring very important knocks of 67 and 46 not out in both the matches, Billings has made his mark. More certainly if England bats first this time all eyes will be on him that how much score he can be capable to post for the side.
