Daniel Seaborne, Mohun Bagan’s latest recruit is all set to arrive in the City of Joy, Kolkatta either on thursday morning or evening, according to reports.
The central defender who has previously played for the English Premier League club Southampton was the signed by the I-League club for the upcoming season.
Mohun Bagan assistant secretary, Srinjoy Basu said, a�?He will be boarding the flight today and will land in the city tomorrow either in the morning or evening.a�?
With some initial concerns about the player’s arrival due to visa issues, the report eventually confirms his arrival in the city before Mohun Bagan’s encounter against Aryan Club in the inaugural match of CFL set to take place on the 6th of August.
However, according to certain sources Daniel may not feature in the playing 11 for the match since the coaching staff would ideally wish to have a look at him during the first 3-4 days in training.
