Brazilian football legend, Pele will get hitched for the third time at the age of 75 on Tuesday to his long time girlfriend of six yearsAMarcia Cibele Aoki.
He has found, “love forever” this time around, Pele was quoted saying to Estado de Sao Paula newspaper.
Pele and his to-be-wife Aoki had met in New York back in the 1980’s but started dating each other only in 2010 after coming across each other in a lift in Sao Paulo.
Since 2012, the 42-year old businesswoman Aoki has constantly been by Pele’s side whether it is for public appearances or repeated hospital visits in the recent past.
Born as Edson Arantes do Nascimento, Pele, the three time world champion is regarded byAmany across the globe as being the greatest footballer in history.
Scoring almost 1300 goals in 1363 matches, Pele donned the Brazilian jersey 91 times during his playing career from 1957-1971. He also played for the clubs FC Santos of Brazil and New York Cosmos during this period.
