The 16 year old talent Parshavi, is from Uttar Pradesh’s Sikandrabad in Bulandshahr which is a small town just 95 kms from the national capital Delhi. She started her sporting journey in skating, winning medals for Uttar Pradesh in the Under 14 level before turning her focus to Cricket. And what a shift, it proved for her. She did not have to turn back as she climbed the ladders, representing the country in the inaugural Under 19 Women’s World Cup which India won and eventually bagging a contract with UP Warriorz in the Women’s Premier League (WPL).

We therefore dug into our treasure trove of stats to celebrate Parshavi’s success and look what we found on the dynamo from Bulandshahr who started to train with boys, but she was that good, she got called up to the Uttar Pradesh Under 16 state team at the tender age of 12.
