Rumour has it that Ali Diaas buddy called Southampton and pretended he was soccer star George Weah. The friend recommended Senegalese striker Dia, who he said was his cousin, and advised the Premier League side to sign him. Dia headed to Southampton to train with the team and was brought on as a sub against Leeds. He was so appalling and was pulled off the pitch after just 53 minutes.
