With Sandeep Narwal (264) and Fazel Atrachali (248) sharing a individual above 200-points , it was a difficult task lying ahead for the duo to not only get the better off the elite combination of Sunil-Parvesh, but also to compete against a team which held every opposition team to under 30 points so far. Also, the statistics showcased a complete dominance by the Fortunegiants over U-Mumba with the former outperforming the defensive compartment. The failed tackle % & average tackle points read 37%-63% and 13.7-8.4 which was evident from the fact of the former having won 5 out of the 6 total encounters.
Surinder Singh turned out to be a surprise package for the Giants who returned back with 4 super raid points which consumed opposition captain, Sunil Kumar and Parvesh Bhainswal. The first ever raid points for Surinder showered the U Mumba dug-out to a comfortable 24-15 lead in the 35th minute of the match. Registering 200 raids in PKL, Mumbai’s Abhishek Singh gets Gujarat an ALL-OUT by a touch on More GB. The 30-19 lead following a Super Tackle by Mumbai’s Young Chang Ko. The empty raid by Dong Geon Lee meant that Mumbai ended their home leg with a victory and the Fortunegiants were ripped apart from registering their 4th win on a trot. Though U-Mumba features at the top of points table with 17 points from 6 matches followed by Dabang Delhi (16) in 4 encounters, Fazel-Narwal led Mumbai team look ahead to finish the proceedings hoping for similar dominating performances in the long season scheduled to finish on the October 19,2019.
