So why is Rohan Bopanna sitting inside a cage ?
This is an ad campaign against the wrong use of animals in weird sports such as Cockfighting just for the entertainment of people.
Bopanna who is set to play in the Menas & Mixed Doubleas representing India in the Rio Olympics has strongly opposed the cockfighting in which the roosters are placed inside a ring and they are made to fight until one of them is dead.
Bopanna who starred in this new campaign for the People for the Ethical Treatment Of Animals (PETA) India feels that this is a very inhuman activity and one should understand what exactly the animals go through. He has made a request to his fans in order to stop such activities saying a? Tennis is a Sport, Cockfighting is nota?.
The above image is from a similar ad campaign of PETA which was shot by Sam Mohan in the last month of 2014, against the unusual use of animals.
