Nico Varela, the 28 years old Uruguayan winger might be on the radar of I-League side Mohun Bagan AC.

According to our sources, we have learnt that, Varela is possibly in talks with I-League giants Mohun Bagan. Varela currently is under contract with Poland’s top division side Wisła Płock since 2017.

Varela contract will end in coming June and he might head towards India. In recent information we got, it has been told that Varela agents might be in talks with Mohun Bagan AC.

Varela has represented Wisła Płock 54 times and has scored 9 goals. He hails from Montevideo, Uruguay. In 2016, Varela was part of Greek club AEL, who got promoted to the Greece Super League at the end of the season.

So far these are the rumours but Nico Varela signing could give Mohun Bagan a boost for the upcoming season.
