1. Sachin Tendulkar

Possibly the greatest cricketer to ever come out of India and the final player from the Great Indian batting quartet to retire a Sachin was also pressurised by critics and fans alike to give way for a new generation. He retired in 2012 from One day internationals but his test form which went on till 2014, showed that the little master still had it. In his last ODI, he scored his 100th century and when India lost the match he was later criticised for taking too many balls to complete it. Ahhhh, so we complain and force them out and then later compare them to the same younger generation they were replaced by.
