This is always been a difficult job, picking the winners and losers from a transfer window.

All because people are unpredictable, and we can never predict how they may ever react. I mean who ever predicted that a man worth 1.7 million pounds one day, would have a release clause of 20 million pounds after a brilliant season?? AThere is no true and tried way to determine how a player may ever do at his new club, especially if he comes from another league. Keeping that in mind, there were some definite losers from this summer transfer window and here are eight of them.

  • Everton:

They had a rather bizarre transfer window this time out. The Toffees finally managed to sell John Stones and with it a massive fee, all thanks to Manchester City and their oil money. They then replaced him Ashley Williams, a good replacement and until this point, everything was fine and dandy. But then they went and spent a bomb on Yannick Bolasie, picked up Idrissa Gueye and had Moussa Sissoko dump them and sign for Spurs!!

  • Wolfsburg

Now what they did was just stupid. They sold Andre Schurrle, Bas Dost and Max Kruse; players whoAwere responsible for well over half of their goal tally last season! Then they blocked Draxleras transfer, so thatas a plus point but they sold their captain and starting center back in Naldo!! Things must be real bad at the Volkswagen Arena.

  • Sunderland

Sunderland shipped in defenders by the truckload, adding Patrick McNair, Donald Love, Pappy Djilobodli, after bringing in Javi Maquillo and Jason Denayer on loan. Then they went and broke their transfer record for Didier Ndong, then signed Januzaj on loan and Steven Pienaar as a free transfer. Exciting for Sunderland fans right?A Think again…
