According toAkicker, a25 million of that fee will now go to Kiev, who allowed the midfielder to sign a four-year deal at the Westfalenstadion.
Dortmund brought in Yarmolenko as a replacement for Ousmane Dembele, 20, who on Monday completed the paperwork to finalise his a105 million transfer to Barcelona.
Yarmolenko ends a long stay at Kiev
The move ends a 10-and-a-half-year stay with Dynamo, where he won Ukraine’s Premier League on three occasions. He has scored 137 goals in 339 competitive games for Kiev and played 69 matches, scoring 29 times for Ukraine.
Andriy had frequently been linked with a move to Dortmund over the past few seasons, and BVB sporting director Michael ZorcAsaid: “Andriy is a player we’ve tracked for a long time and who stands for top level football both on club and national team level.”
“I am very thankful that Dynamo Kiev has fulfilled my dream of moving to a top European club,” Yarmolenko said. “I will work hard in training, and help BVB reach its biggest goals. It’s always about that.”
