5. Spurs now look like serious title contenders
This season’s brilliant form has indicated that their last season’s title run was not a one time thing but Aa sign that better things are yet to come. The Argentine is shaping a team which can take on the big guns of the league and who knows it may become oneAitself in a few years. They have closed the gap between Chelsea and other teams and thrown the title race open.
They have won against City and Chelsea at home and have done pretty well against the top
sides since the Argentine’s arrival. Most of the Spurs major fixtures are at home including clashes with United and Arsenal which might go there way if they continue to play the way they have the last 3 months.
Spurs seem to be the silent underdog in this year’s title challenge which has seen all the attention being focused on Chelsea and Liverpool. The 3 way race sees Chelsea having an edge over the other 2 teams but considering it’s the Premier League the prediction of who will be crowned at the end of the year seems futile. Although one thing that can be predicted is that Spurs are here to stay in the title race and only time will tell if they’ve got what it takes to be the English Champions.
