Ranti Martins, who hails from Nigeria, needs no introduction to Indian football fans. He spent 12 years of his playing career in Indian and achieved many goal scoring records. He managed 32 goals in 2011-12 season for Dempo. He has also represented Prayag United, Rangdajied United & East Bengal. He spent a loan spell with FC Goa in ISLas inaugural season 2014. Martins won the I League 3 times and the erstwhile National Football League twice. He was also the winner of a?AIFF I League Foreigner of the Yeara? two seasons in a row, in 2011-12 & 2012-13. After 12 successful years and 214 goals on Indian soil, Martin signed for Penang FA in Malaysian Super League on 12th July 2016. This 30 year old lethal striker still has few years of football left in him and we hope to see him back again.
